Well here I am back at it, sorry I've gone so long without posting. We have been rather busy this spring (or should I say a continuation of winter with all the colder weather). We have actually traveled quite a bit and Jay has been gone for most of April and May. He went fishing in Alaska the last part of April, while I had the joy of staying home with kids who had friends over and flooded the basement of our uncles house (that was a lovely experience). Then most of the month of May Jay traveled down to St. George on business, we got to go with him the last time. Lastly, my children chose this spring to finally get sick, Halle's temperature spiked to 103.9 while Jackson's remained down around 103.6, I decided that I had to let a few things go and blogging was one of them. Don't worry though, my house is now clean and we are back to normal, well after Jay gets home from his last St. George trip we will be normal. One last thing is we put an offer in on a home in Herriman in April, it is a short sale house and we are waiting on approval from the bank. We should know this week or next if we are going to become a resident of Herriman. My vote is no and Jays is yes. I have really liked it here in Orem and want to remain close to family and great shopping, while Jay wants to move closer to work. Whatever the outcome I guess one of us will have to adjust.

More Gum
My lovely son usually doesn't learn things the first time he tries something, putting gum in places is no exception. Today he ground it into his eyebrows. I had to put peanut butter in his eyebrows and they comb it out. It hurt him rather bad and as I was combing it out and I kept having to telling him that this was the consequence for grinding gum into different body parts. I really hope this time the lesson hit home, well that and the fact that we grounded him from gum for quite a while!!!
Tiny Tot Sports Camp
I signed Jackson up for a sports camp and he is having so much fun, they get to play basketball, soccer, and baseball.
Kids Fishing Day
Jay and Anthony took the kids fishing at Salem Pond this last Saturday. They had so much fun casting and reeling the line back in. Jackson was very excited when he caught a fish (until it became bloody, then it turned kinda gross-he is a product of me after all)
First camping trip of the year
The first camping trip of the year is always an anticipated event. We went back up to Logan to go with our very missed friends. What more do you need that good friends and good food while you are camping... oh yeah sunshine. We went over Memorial weekend, it rain for a good portion of the weekend and it was cold. We were rather muddy, all the more fun Jackson thought. We broke in Richard and Anna's new trailer house with all the mud. We had a really good time and are looking forward to going to Jackson Hole with everyone in July.
Once a Year
Once a year my Aunt Julie comes to visit from California and we drop everything and play for a week. My grandparents had a BBQ for her and of course I snapped a few pictures of the kids.
Mothers Day 2008
This is one of those moments that Elder Ballard talked about in the last General Conference "recognize that the joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction." I love my children! Then they both went in and ate the flowers that they made for me, and by the way Jackson's answer to how old I was on the card he made for me was 44!
Idaho
Congratulations go out to Kallie on her baptism. Even though it was a very quick trip we were glad that we could make it up for the special occasion.
After the baptism the kids were really excited to go back to the pool and swim.
Jay's Birthday
My sweet husband turned 33 on April 29th. I seriously can't believe we are getting that old.
We are becoming a barn yard!
My grandpa is a very resourceful person to have around. He let us borrow his incubator and got us some eggs so we could hatch our own baby chick. The day that the first one hatched, my children were again in heaven. We had so much fun with them for several week, again we had neighbor kids over and would take them outside to play. Jackson was very sad when I took them back to my grandpa house (sorry to always be the spoil sport, but they were starting to fly and I really didn't want to wake up one morning next to a darling moulting chick!)
If you look close you can see the baby chicks in the back of his truck. I was alway right there to make sure no harm was done (to the baby chicks of course!)
Baa Baa Black Sheep
My grandpa thought it would be really funny to bring us one of the lambs that didn't have a mother to take care of it. Well needless to say my children were so over the top excited. It was kinda fun to have, some of the neighbor children even came to see "Trigger" the lamb (that is what Jackson named him). Well lucky for me the lamb wouldn't eat, so my grandpa got him back, but not before he was the object of show and tell and before I got to enjoy the experience of driving 75+ miles per hour down the freeway because the lamb had ripped through his box and was trying to come up front to help me drive. What I do for my kids!
Halle the Hair Dresser
While taking Jackson to get his hair cut, Halle made a friend with one of the student hair dressers, she climbed right up in her lap and played with all of her brushes and products, then she started to comb the mannequins hair. Halle even let the girl paint her fingernails, which boggled my mind since it is a knock down drag out fight ever time I try to cut her fingernails.
Ward Talent Show
It is now a fact that we have the most talented child in the whole world. And how do I know this you may ask, well because at the ward talent show Jackson debuted his talented arm swing act! What is the arm swinging act you may ask, well it is swinging your are really fast in a circular motion. Yes the old people loved it!
A Few Pics from Easter
Jackson preschool class became bunnies for Easter. I loved the Cheetos for a carrot!
Coloring Easter eggs. This was the first year Jackson didn't get color all over his hands that remained stained for several days afterwards.
