Christmas Eve

We went to my parents house for Christmas Eve this year. Jackson and Carson were so wound up, I didn't think Jackson would ever go to bed that night. My grandparents came with Brooklyn and Chelsey brought Andrew. The most exciting part of the night was when my mom brought out a present for the little kid, and then gave the big kids one to open also (the big kids never get to open one on Christmas Eve anymore so it was very exciting) it was a Nintendo Wii! We were so excited Jackson and Carson really wanted to play with it and so the big kids had to wait their turn (again!!!) I was so sad when we had to go home.Jackson was so excited for Santa that he had a hard time going to sleep somewhere around eleven I made him go to bed then I went out in the garage. When I came back in he was on the couch watching TV. I told him that he could watch it with me but if Santa flew by and all the kids were not asleep he would skip over our house. He sat on the couch for a minute more and then said "OK mom, I guess I will go to bed now" why can't it be that easy all year?
Norris Family Christmas Party

The Norris party was on the Sunday before Chrismas. The grandkids were very wound up and somehow talked grandma into opening up their presents. Jackson was so excited to discover he had received a whole but of Thomas Trains, while Halle (the theme throughout this Christmas) really liked the paper. She has also found a great joy in grandmas tupperware drawer, much of the contents were on the floor by nights end.Our Sweet Princess

The first picture is of Halle in her Christmas dress. My sister gave it to her and she looked so cute. Thanks to my sister who works at Nordstroms Halle is becoming a very sophisticated dresser. The second picture was taken because it was the first time I tried to pull all of her hair up into pigtails. She looked so cute, too bad that she was sick (you can see it in her eyes and nose). She really wasn't in the mood for playing dressup and having a photo session, but she was still so cute. Notice all of the passifiers, she always has one in her mouth and has to have a spare in her hands. That is actually the only way she will fall asleep.
Grandma Sellers
Every year while in Las Vegas we like to stop in and see Jays grandma Sellers. It is always good to see her and she always likes to see how big the kids are getting. She isn't able to make it up to Utah anymore so this is the only chance we get to see her each year.
Las Vegas
Every year we get to go to the Rodeo Finals with my family. It is always a fun time (except for the drive with a one-year-old who doesn't believe in sleeping in the car aaaaahhhh!!)
Reindeer Jackson
Jackson's new preschool teacher is absolutely darling with the kids (so was the old one). One of the days themes for December was "Reindeer Games" she crocheted little noses for the kids and made antlers, then they pretended to be reindeer by jumping over things and landing on top of things. Jackson was so excited he wore his to the store and thought he was pretty neat stuff!
Jake and Jackson
Jake is Jackson's good friend (until they fight). Jake's mom, Jennie, came to help us pack up our house. Jake and Jackson had fun terrorizing an empty house. If you look closely you can see the apple Jackson had just made with his neighborhood friends, it had fruit loops and marshmallows for the wings and face. The poor turkey barely made it through the picture session before it became the mid-afternoon snack. Such is the life of a turkey!
Goodbye Providence
We sold our house on October 29th (or at least received an offer) making our total time spent in Providence 4 years and 2 months and 1 day. Yes, I really did keep track! We spent the next few weeks making moving arrangements and realizing how much we were going to miss Logan, our friends, and our house. Great thanks to Kristine for all the help in selling our house.
Halloween Celebration

Every year on Halloween we like to carve pumpkins and eat chili in bread bowls. We had fun carving our pumpkins even though we didn't have too much time, Jay had to come home from Salt Lake and didn't get home in time to eat, carve our pumpkins, and go trick-or-treating before dark so we sped things up by downsizing our face carving abilities. Halle had fun standing at the door and watching us. She was practicing walking. Disneyland
The week before Halloween my mom, sister and myself went to Disneyland. We had so much fun and everything was decorated so cute for Halloween. We had a hard time getting my mom back on the airplane, I think she could live at Disneyland!
Jackson's First Field Trip
Jackson went to the fire department with his preschool class. He had so much fun, he got to try the fireman's hat on and sit in the driver seat and pretend he was driving the big fire truck. They also looked inside an ambulance and listened to their heartbeat.
Halle's First Birthday
I can't believe that my baby is one! We had a party for her with grandmas, grandpas, cousins, and neighbors. She was very spoiled and as you can see she was not shy about diving into her cake, what a mess!
Our last Halloween in Providence
Halle was our little lady bug for Halloween and Jackson was a mighty cowboy. He was sick and didn't really want to go trick-or-treating until the next day. It was really hard to explain to a three-year-old that you can't go around the neighborhood every day begging for candy.
We sold our house two days before Halloween.
