Our most memorable moment of the trip came when we were getting on the boat to go back across Jenny Lake. This black bear came wandering up the trail and right on to the deck where a ton of people were standing. The boat operator was very calm and told everybody what to do. I was very glad that I was on the boat and not one of the people that was just finishing their hike because the bear was between them and the boat dock. Everyone on our side was excited and were taking pictures while the boat operator tried to scare him away.

Inspiration Point (almost Jackson got tired and wanted to turn around, but he had hiked for over 2 miles.)

Halle had the best seat in the house during our hike!

A bunch of kids were playing in the water, so of course that's all Jackson wanted to do as well. He had lost interest in the hike after seeing the water and we really didn't get to go on much further. The water was freezing!

(If you look closely you can see Jacksons sour face, we had just come from the gondola ride and he did not want to leave.)

Jackson had so much fun going in the gondola. He kept telling us we were flying up the mountain. We could have probably done it a dozen times without him getting tried.

Yay for the Norris Family! I love Jenny Lake! I cross-country skied to Jenny Lake under a full moon with a bunch of friends from USU...ahh, the good old days! Come see us in NYC! Miss you guys - can't wait for a river-rafting reunion.
